I started with a spig and it did me as a start if that is what you can afford, having changed (still have the spig for emergencies) I would definitely recommend someone to spend the extra money on a good release.

Independent of weather or not this is a cheap release, if when you buy it, it does not work then it is not fit for the purpose for which it was sold, I would demand they change it or refund the money if they refuse as far as I am aware they are breaking the law I would contact trading standards or citizens advice.
