It doesn't just happen at your level. A guy at the club bought himself a new Matrix/G3 limbs put it together and without tuning shot a Portsmouth round for the hell of it - cue a new PB (586...). It's unlikely to be the limbs as he was shooting FX before to a high 570/low 580s level...

I believe this is more often than not because most recurve archers cant tune their gear. They buy new stuff, they fluke a better tune, and then think "now if I tune this I'll score better" and out the window it goes.
