Hi
I've just returned to archery after a 12 year absence from the sport, i wanted to replace my old 40lb Yamaha limbs with lighter ones but found they are no longer available.
So i bit the bullet and orderd a new Hoyt!
It arrived yesterday and with the opportunity to shoot that eavening at my local club and with only an hour to spare, i very excitedly set forth transfering Rest, Sight and button to the new bow.
Guess what? No threads matched and no info on thread spec with the bow!!?
What a briliant way to have people ruin a new bow buy using the wrong screws and potentially invalidate the waranty!
Well done on find a spec on the Hoyt web site, iv'e just failed but instead found this forum.
I am now going through three draw fulls of assorted Machine Screws and Bolts in the hope that i find some that fit.
The button is another story, guess i'll have to buy a new one.
All the best.
Rupert.
