Hi gcentral that would probably be an ok bow for the first couple of months but I think you would soon out grow it . Your post leads me to assume you are going to do a beginers course if this is the case your best bet would be to save your money till you have completed your training and then take advise from your coaches . If you find you really get into the sport and want to enter competions etc. this bow would be no use as it wont take a sight ,stabiliser, and would probably be to low a poundage .
