As a Saxophonist tuning the instrument is simple, get it to room temperature and move the mouth piece forward and backwards to get the right pitch. But tuning a bow is a major operation or at least it looks that way. The internet has over 30 bazillion helps and tips on doing this and there is a lot of discrepancy on what is being advised. Brace height (20 to 50 turns), Buttons, mag rests and clickers. Field dampening coils (
that maybe Star Trek). Anyway can you please recommend a good book which is fairly accurate and with plenty of pictures. Please.
