The only thing that really scares me in Archery is the sight of men in white trousers! As for new blood the more the merrier because Archery at club level is on the change. New ideas and ways of doing things are seeping into the sport and the influx of new people is the only thing that is going to push this sport forward. Its really starting to happen at club level but it has got to creep into the upper levels, county and above. There are a lot of committees out there who are stuck in a rut simply because of the "We have always done it that way" mentality. Infiltration is required. What we've got to do is enlist and retain these new archers after their bg courses stopping them drifting off for whatever reason!
