You may find this is precisely what a few people would want, personally I think you can shoot imperial rounds if you like, but I vote with my feet and usually don't go to the national outdoors. I find doing loads of fita 70m dull and tend not to go to 'double 70m' comps too.
I find the FITA more meaningful and more challenging as well as being the respected international round and enjoy the masters and other similar comps that adopt a 'best of both policy' between the full fita and a more random h2h format.
As a stepping post, so that all could be happy you could have it like the juniors and do a fita one day and a york/hereford the other?
