I was worried about the steep angle and wide blades myself, but in practice I get perfect clearance (with the right blade) with all the arrows I shoot ie 2315 XX78's, 400 Axis FMJ's, 480 Navs and 470 ACE's. That's 450gn down to 290gn and max diameter down to extremely slim - a pretty wide range!
Whether the TT1 would be better, I don't know, as I haven't used one, but its hard to see how (I'll be speaking to you about a loan soon Alistair!).
