umm i wasn`t tightening it when it snapped i was shooting
i can only guess it was the vibrations caused the bolt to shear as i haven`t touched these particular bolts in 8 months

anyways good news, panics over Pops and i had another go this evening and eventually managed to drill out the screw (althought this did result in the thread in the riser being damaged too )
However Pops has an extensive selection of nuts bolts and screws and we managed to find a self tapping screw which has gone in and is now holding the sight block in place, just 2 small marks on the inside of the tec bar and 2 mismatched screws holding the sight on to show for my trauma
