| PSE Intrepid is a solid riser. Slightly on the heavy side. Looks good, feels good. Only real downside is the limb alignment adjusment has been known to shake loose, so one to watch out for. You need to stay on top of the checks of the small grub screws at either side of the limb pocket to ensure reliability.
Can you qualify why you didn't like the SF?
A word of warning when trying risers. Don't draw too many conclusions from shooting an untuned bow! When I were a lad... (oh no, here we go)... I went to quicks to try out some bows. One of which was a Yamaha SFF. I hated the thing - it was loud, brash and snappy, but didn't realise until later that in fact it was just down to the setup being completely wrong (they just threw it together in the shop). You live and learn...
