RE: Riser advice please

pitprops - 22/5/2005 6:43 PM Hi All, I think its time to raid the piggy bank and invest in a new riser. Currently I'm shooting a Hoyt GM. I was heading down the road of the Hoyt Matrix, cos that's what everyone hereabouts seems to shoot. Then whilst browsing I came across the Spigarelli 2001 VBS and the Win & Win Xpert NX both within the right sort of price range. Of the three, the Spigarelli package seems to offer best value for money. Anyone got any thoughts or experience of these risers (or others)? Ta very much

I recently upgraded to a Matrix and found it to be a lovely riser to shoot as they balance quite nicely. If you do get one, get rid of the standard Hoyt grip and buy one of the shorter wooden replacement grips; they're about £20.00.</p>
