| The same as with any problem do practice it - get some nice friendly club mates to talk at you whilst you shoot, try making them tell you how your opponent is doing cf you etc, the most distracting things possible.
Then by the time the competition comes around you'll have learnt how's best to deal with it...
I think the worst I had to contend with was an athletics tracks starting pistol, I was getting worried in case it went off at just the wrong moment, so I went back and praticised with some loud bangs so I now know it won't affect my shots for next time.
