The Fonz Award

It's with great pleasure that I award the second ever Fonz Award to an archer who - quite understandably - wishes to remain anonymous.
At a club shoot this weekend, the archer in question set his scope up on the line before we rattled off an end of sighters. Miraculously, my first sighter landed in the 10 ring at 90 metres. (Or so he said). Not a bad start. (Or so I thought).
The said archer started almost as impressively, scoring a 9. Oh how we patted our backs at our impeccable sightmarks. We even laughed at how soft the boss must be in the centre as sometimes, our arrows barely made a sound as they clustered in the gold. We were both using the same colour nocks, so we couldn't pick out whos arrow was whos. But that didn't matter, we would both surely cruise to a Master Bowman score.
The whistle went, and we set off down the range. It was only when we got about 30 metres away that I noticed my arrows seemed to have migrated up to the top of the boss. In fact, some had pulled themselves and planted themselves in the grass 10 yards behind the target.
Yes, you've guessed... He'd trained his scope on an adjacent boss which was being used by a particularly proficient compound shooter!
So Kevin H, stand up and accept your award like a man!
