Does dacron stretch? Recently checking the bracing height of my bow. With my dacron string the brace height was OK. On fitting a new fast flyte string the brace height was more than with the dacron string. I then measured the respective strings and found that even though the fast flyte string was shorter than the dacron string the bracing height was less when the bow was fitted with the dacron string. Will the fast flyte string stretch with use? This leads me to believe that the dacron must stretch when it is fitted to the bow but the fast flyte string does not stretch. Is this correct? |
