I had a female friend who had no sense of smell, she was quite happy to be told she was a bit wiffy or that she had overdone it on the perfume (I could never understand why she spent money on something she could never smell herself, but that’s girls for you). She even used to ask if her flat smelled OK when we went round.
If the person in question has no sense of smell then they will probably be happy if you let them know. If they just don’t bother washing then that’s a different matter, time to move down the shooting line as far away as possible.
