Hi John,
I shoot an infinite on my bow and they are superb. I have the rest set soft so when the arrow is nocked, the rest drops down and when I draw back the weight of the arrow gets less and the rest cocks up. As you know there is no "paradox" with a compound bow, so when you release, the arrow pushes the rest down and is in "free flight" before the rest comes up again. Two prong rests are great for big alloys with broadheads and long feathers! Why do you want 2.3/4" fletchings on ACC's anyway? Perhaps the marks on your fletchings are because your rest is too hard, try reducing spring pressure, or adjusting nocking point for a start, but I don't think "2prong rest"is the answer.
