thank you rads, bkupris if your bosses are in a sheltered wood and are the foam strip type then a tilt on top which hangs over about 12" should keep the worst of the wet off, its not that often rain will dampen the face unless its blowing a real gale and its getting blown about in all directions, however if you are in an open field,it might still work, i used a plastic sheet cut into lengths,very much like the stuff you see on for sale signs outside houses for sale, then just screw a batten round the top to secure it. it seems to work for our club and like rads says,no walking round the course to uncover everything first.
