I always start tuning etc for the outdooe as soon as I have shot mt last indoor comp, when I shot recurve this meant,

Changing the string, button and rest height etc.
Then using the last month or so indoors to tune the setup.

OK so this doesnt involve much shooting outdoors but all you have to do when once outdoors is a walk back tune to confirm the bare shaft test and then get your sightmarks.

It gets you off to a flyer, I guess we have all see club members still tuning for the outdoors in May or even later.

I will be doing the same with the compound, its off to Lez for an MOT (new cable & string etc) early March as I am not shooting the YAA, and setup for carbons and off I go.

Preperation, Preperation, Preperation obvious but true.
