M1s. No direct experience of them, but scuttlebutt had them as more popular than G3s in the US. They are (as I understand it) an upgraded Hoyt Carbon+, which was Hoyt's flagship limb for umpteen years. Be aware that 38lb M1s are probably about the same weight as 36lb GSFs on your handle. Almost certainly faster though - there are differences in the way limbs are weighed.
Limb/arrow upgrades. These more or less have to be done in tandem, unless your current shafts are too stiff for your current limbs. Are your current limbs wound up all the way? |
Hi Rik,
Thanks for you input on the matter. Answering you question, my current arrows are slightly stiff for my limbs, in the T6 range, but I have my limbs wound in quite allot, Chucking out 38-39Lbs.
Could you please explain what you mean by the weight of the M1 limbs? Are you referring to the poundage or weight in the hand?
I have also noticed that Bowsports is selling Winex limbs for cheaper than M1's. Must be a better buy, if they feel ok on the bow, surely?
Thanks
Paul
