I'm using the 2.25 inch X-Vanes, standard 120 degree separation with a slight offset to them I would say 2 degrees or so, I have them fairly close to the nock about 10mm away. They seem to be OK have survived when stopping my arrows passing through a target, that would have destroyed my spin wings.
