Got mine from elsewhere, but yes they are a little "soft". Gotta remember that they are a softwood arrow, they still fly true and I haven't had any problems with them. Even spine testing thime lest a little indentatin on them. That said I haven't broken any and I've hit more than my fair share of stands etc.
