*shrugs* Whatever works for you. Personally, I need at least a 4" extender PLUS a small top rod to get the balance right with my setup (and most setups, if you look along the line of any major event), perhaps the Browning has a different balance point.
Static balance is simply one quick test - the real test is the reaction of the bow when shot. YMMV etc!
