Interesting theory.. there aren't that many women on here though, are there, and imo the kit buying stage is where a lot of women give up. I regularly see VERY mediocre men archers buying 500+ worth of kit, whereas I think women, especially if they have children, feel guilty about this. We do manage to pick up the bargains when the fellas upgrade though!

The practising and competing does take up time, and you need to put in a lot of hours to get really good. More than I can manage, tbh! I'm lucky enough to have a really understanding husband, who's very supportive, but it's a big ask!

And I only have to spend more money on archery clothes because people keep thinking my green trousers are brown!! Grr!!
