It really depends what kind of level you're at as to whether it's limiting you or not.
last year i had about 34lbs on my fingers with triples, and was shooting Bowman scores at 90 by the end of the season. This season i'm shooting 40lbs on my fingers and the scores haven't greatly increased, with my best only going up some 20 or so points.
There are so many variables, that, provided you can reach the target with a sightmark (even with an inverted sight!) then you can achieve a reasonable level of accuracy. An increase in poundage *THAT YOU CAN SHOOT COMFORTABLY* will obviously help, but not as much as improving form overall.
