Ground plans

The latest mailing I received from the NCAS includes a letter and form asking the club to send its ground plans in, so they can be registered properly with the GNAS. It looks like something my predecessor should have done about 3 years ago but didn't.

Does anyone know what format these should be in and what level of detail is acceptable, given that we're not going to spend hundreds on a professional surveyor? I'm hoping it will be OK to do a schematic based on the results from Google maps - would that be acceptable?

And does anyone know what the next steps are after we've sent in the plans?
