While looking at some tuning issues at the weekend it was noted that the limbs were out of alignment. A couple of coaches tried to adjust, but it was VERY stiff & we didn't want to force anything. However, the sticker in the limb pocket got us thinking that it might not be stiff as such, but actually set in place by hoyt - again we didn't want to force anything. I will phone the reseller later today to get their adivce.
If the alignment was set at the factory by Hoyt, using laser alignment....I think they need new lasers etc!!!! |
i have an eclipse and i do believe they can be aligned to what you want, but best to get a reputable dealer to do it, my limbs are misaligned on my eclipse (if you look at the bow face on youll see the distance either side of the limbs in relation to the edge of the limb pockets is not the same), which leads me to think they are supposed to be like that, i havent had any problems with mine as yet but just make sure from time to time that my string is central etc
