This subject reminds me of when Easton came to show off the new ACE's. At the end they asked for questions and mine was: What next? I was shooting XX75's and had saved up for the new Carbon's and suddenly....they were out of date.
The subject with Limbs is quite interesting, as history shows they have come a long way. along with all the other equipment advances.
My comment would be, that we rely on the likes of you people at Border, for the modern technology that allows us to advance and better the scores.
The problem on this subject lies in how much time one can spare to practice.
By this I mean; If Border were to bring out the new limbs and chose to go for speed rather than the stability, I think that the inexperienced archer would be tempted at the idea of the arrow being in flight for shorter time and the fact that the sights will be better. Even though the critical factor can disadvantage the gains, beginners seem to be pulled in by the technology of the equipment before they have even reached 60 yards.
The likes of experienced archers i.e GMB's MB's are shooting a standard, where, the advanced technology of speed will probably be benefit to them, but this is because they will have less chance of suffering the disadvantages in the stability of the bow.
Whether it would be possible for Border to introduce the choice I don't know, we'll just wait and see.....
