Facewalking and Stringwalking are moving the hand to a different part of the string/face ("walking") depending on the distance to the target. So, with a consistant anchor point, for example, by "stringwalking" you have the bow angled for the range (it tends to be done, I think, by "counting down the serving"). Maybe someone can explain it better?

But as you anchor with Mediterranian Loose then as long as your anchor point is consistant, then you're legal and it shouldn't be a problem.

As for arrows, I've not come across carbons shot from a recurve that often in Field, and it's tended to be in the Freestyle class (where anything goes, so longrod, sights, etc). Those shooting BB that I've come across tend to shoot ali rather than carbon (but that might just be them!).

The debate tends to be one of consistency - with wooden arrows there's always going to be differences between each one, with metal then you can be more certain that each one will behave as another, and they're likely to be straighter too!

It will come down to personal preference - me, for the moment I'll shoot HT, so wood&feather.
