Decided to go for the Merlin rods after all.....
I wanted to get the matching set, so didn't see the point in getting cheapies just now, only to get the active balance ones later. Ordered the following:
2 x 9" short rods
1 x 5" extender
This will look great with my Active Balance long rod & merlin quick release v-bar. Hopefully all will get first proper outing at Escoco.
