Which field / target bow to buy ?

Hi Guys and Girls,

Recently it came to my mind that it would be a good time to get another bow (I am sooting an LB now). I would like to try a recurve for a change. Since I am not likely to go hunting, I am thinking of buying a more target-oriented bow. My questions are as follows:

1. What draw weights should I be looking at? I am not very physically strong, so I suppose 40# would be about right?
2. Should the bow be long or shorter? I was thinking, the longer, the better - maybe above 64''? Or am I mistaken here?
3. I know all about benefits of steel risers, but I'd like to get a wood-risered bow and shoot wooden arrows off the shelf. This is just a quirk of mine.
4. I'd like a bow that is easy to tune and forgiving
5. Do you have any brands that you can recommend? Any other suggestions? I am planning to use the winter months to do some research and come up with something for the next season...

The whole subject of target/field archery is completely new to me, so I thought I'd go to the forum to ask some experts here for advice.

Thx
