No, certainly not, but only because I don't know how it's constructed internally. I'm assuming it's based on this patent:

My understanding of the "Suppression Mount" is that it dispels vibration in the bow by the use of harmonics, in other words it induces a counter frequency in the suppression mount to cancel out the frequency of the shock caused by the release of the string. To my way of thinking this would (if it actually worked) alter the "feel" of the bow. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it might make it more difficult to tune your bow by feel.

In any case, if it was a good idea to use it as an extender (at $64.95) why do Doinker have three extenders (4", 5" & 6") in their range?
