| if the part of the limb that actually hold the limb in place is missing then I would say that it is not safe to use anymore.
With the limb not locked into place apart from being able to fall out it will move around when you are drawing and releasing.
Even if it doesn't fly out of the bow on release your shots wil not be right and you are putting huge stresses on the slotted end of the limb.
