| think of the peep as a backsight as per gun - its an alignment aid in that respect rather than a magnification aid. That plus the round body of the scope - if you align peep, body, center circle/dot, you should be aiming consistantly ( not to mention bow torque, hand position or scope bubble here ).
You can also go down the route of adding 'clarifiers' to the peep which 'may' have some small magnification as well. i thought of doing this then went with the gensis instead that you can adjust, rather than add clarifiers.
When we shoot sunday we can have a play around with different peep/circle/bodies - it may be that the Scope/lense you have just isnt right for you.
