For the compound guys who make their own strings and cables - do you pre-stretch your strings? I use a Spig Jig with a crank on one end that allows you to really put the string under pressure before serving.

I hear the best one is the BCY jig but it costs a fortune and is only available from the USA, so I can imagine the shipping will be very steep.

I use an Arten with crossbow adapter to make the small floating yokes and the Spig for the longer strings and cables.
