During my first few years in compound archery, whatever strings i bought there was some problem or another with the way they were made (peep rotation and poor servings were the main culprits) i spent a pile of money on them for my wifes and my bows.

Some time later i started to buy custom strings from the USA and while these were much better on peep rotation the lengths weren`t always correct. Consequently i often had to put excessive twists in a cable or string to get the bows timed right, and on one occasion in one set the string was made too short to be usable and had to be replaced.

So because of all that i thought to get what i want it looks as though i`ll have to make them myself - i got a heavy duty jig made up and that is what i now do, make and re-serve strings & cables for myself and anybody else that needs them.
