Apparently the sparrow hawk is a very nice bow, this is quoted from Grozer's website: "This is a small hunting recurve bow, but it has a long draw length.
It is smooth, accurate and fast."
Bamboo makes a fast bow, with an osage belly it's an excellent combination. Yew tree archery (
Yew Tree Archery Traditional English Longbows) make custom bows, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting what you want longbow-wise from them, someone on this forum bought a longbow from them (I forget who, Jaarus?) and they love it.
