I suspect what you've heard is a one-off story.

One of the people who told me about Hoyt risers shooting better with Hoyt limbs, than with Win & Win limbs etc, is a lady who shoots recurve for Aussie, it was just what she had found through trying different limbs. Now, because she is at such a high level, perhaps she can detect things which an average club arche like myself couldn't. The other person was just relating what he had heard somewhere, so that carries a lot less weight.

I have Samick Universals now, and one of the other limbs I am interested in upgrading to are the Extremes. I haven't heard anything bad about them, other than some saying they are noisy, although others have said they are very quiet. Did you compare your Extremes to any other limb before buying ? How do you rate the build quality ?
