If someone in your club has 40lb or 42lb short limbs and they will let you try them on your riser then spend the time trying them. Do a walkback if you can get outdoors and see how they feel. Shorter limbs will give you a better cast but if you do not feel comfortable with them is there any point using them just to get a few yards more and being able to keep the same arrows.

There are a lot of experienced coaches on this site who I know will flood this post with lots of helpfull info for you.
