| 1mm depends on where you measure it from.
Pull the bow back, and let it down gently, then watch the string in the top and bottom limb grooves. If it settles back into the limb grooves, it'll be fine. If it comes down alongside the string groove and then snaps into place (or not!) then you need to sort out the alignment. (when doing this test you MUST not torque the grip or you'll get a false result). |
