I think you might find that some international coaches encourage their archers to explore all avenues at least in the privacy of the practice field.
After all points mean prizes!
on a general point about this forum- far too many poeple make statements about products that cannot be substantiated by publicly accessable material leading to ill informed conjecture.All I would ask is that if folk wish to make "absolute statements" implying facts,( such as US Olympic team... etc etc.....) please provide links to back them up.
