Acehero, Looking out of the corner of your eye might be ok so long as it isn't too extreme.
You are right to try these different ideas but on something like this, which is your posture,in a way, you need to be convinced that what you choose is correct. I am not saying your coach has given wrong advice, there is no way of telling that. When you were asked to change, was the string just touching your chin and not the nose? Was the change recommended because you were not drawing the string back far enough?
