Not sure if thats a problem worth retiring limbs for. We have seen some limbs though the glass fiber and into the wood in the string grooves. Bring them along and make a point of letting us see them. We can hopefilly tell you if its a problem. It sounds like its just the paint thats gone though, in which case a touch of nail varnish to seal the broken paint would do.

But bring them along and we will double check, words on a forum can be very vague. Dont recomend anyone shooting suspect limbs. But for the sake of getting professional advice you could be shooting them again...
