One possible difficulty with one flowing motion, is the way the finer details can become blurred. In a way, you can develop a form that has a start point and finishing point, with no checks in between, allowing unknown variations to occur . If your draw is built from separate parts that run one after the other, each part can have a clear start and end of its own. Each part can be learnt with care and become "well known " to the archer. If the parts are later joined, seamlessly, the individual parts can still be checked on the way; helping to keep things in shape.
