It sounds dubious and I agree - however none the less it is a good gateway to archery and if the Leader running it has any inkling about what he is doing you should have a decent platform to really get a lot more people into the sport or at least exposed to it.
10 weeks... I can have someone shooting comfortably with consistant form in 1 - 4 hours usually - one or two sessions a week for 10 weeks, sounds about right to get a class up to a standard.
I'd personally send one of the club coaches along to have a chat and a looksee at what they get up to, help them out a bit. In the end they are all going to be coming to your club and having done the above you'll know they are good to go. |
And of course print out some flyers about your club to take with you before hand
