RE: Hand went numb...

TJ Mason - 20/6/2005 12:00 PM I've had my ring finger go numb when doing strength exercises that involved holding at full draw for 10 seconds, but the whole hand is scary! Did you get pins and needles at any time? That might indicate that the blood supply was reduced. Otherwise, I'd guess that you were trapping a nerve somewhere. Were you holding for longer than usual?

No longer than usual and there were no pins and needles so I guess I may have trapped a nerve. It could also have something to do with#having#my bow cranked up to max over the last few weeks and probably overbowing myself - I think my arm decided it'd had enough I'll shoot again tomorrow and see if the same thing happens and if it does I'll think about reducing my poundage (which would be a shame as it knocked around 13mm off my site mark )</p>
