Very confused!
Isnt a FITA 25 an indoor round? How can there be a limited overshoot that affects compounds? Is the netting close to the back wall or something? What is a compound doing missing at 25m anyway. I have been to shoots where there is NO backstop netting - miss at your peril.

Is this the first of many shoots to BAN COMPOUNDS

Originally intended as a small shoot for archers in the local Dyfed area, there are apparently a couple of spaces left in both sessions. I have been given permission by Castle (who are not my club) to announce it here. If you'd like to shoot you need to know the following:

• It's NOT record status
• Overshoot is very limited. High-powered compounds may find that a missed shot proves expensive despite the netting; lower poundage compounds and all other bowstyles should have no problem
• Catering will be limited to the drinks and choccy machines at the venue, so feel free to bring your own food/drink
