Many moons ago, when the first *Click* buttons were introduced, there was a thinking that when it was windy, to compensate for the arrow drift, the click button could be used to great effect so that the archer was always aiming at the centre of the target, by, in effect, changing of the pressure setting within the button, made the arrow appear to be stiff or weak. I tried it myself back in the 80's and it did work and noted that my *average* of score was higher when I used this policy rather than when I didn't. Roy Mathews also told me he used this method when he shot off a pressure button in *Quite windy conditions*.
It has to be said though that in those days it was alloy in the main that was being used and I wonder if the same policy would work today with the *click* buttons and carbons?

And *tel*, what did you learn from your exploits shooting in the wind?
