| Hi, I don't use TXGs either, but my old Premier Carbons go wonderfully with D-75 (probably thin, there's about 16 strands and I use Small Beiter nocks with Diamondback serving). It's the most popular string material here in Geneva, but then the local shop is run by an ex-French team archer (Richard Cordeau) who says it's great. I've tried a few others and not found any to be better.
Generally it seems that most string materials these days are pretty much identical except for strand thickness.
