has anyone ever received a renewed coach certificate?
My cert came up for renewal in January. I sent off the paperwork and I konw my CCO recommended my renewal, but I've heard nothing back since.
When I enquired, I've been told that
gnas probably dont send out renew certificates.
Problem is my certificate has a start date on it, under which it says "effective for 3 years"
My local council said "your 3 year certificate has expired. Can we see your new certificate to prove you are still a coach" and theyve expired my accreditation until I get a new certificate. We have a local version of clubmark (active clubs association) and that also depends on coaches having current certificates.
Someone at
gnas is looking into it for me now
, but I wondered if I am alone in this "non certificate" black hole
and if other coaches had received renewed certificates? Am I going to have to resit my exams
, or should I do a leaders course to be sure of a valid certificate
