Although the Target 3 has a trigger I have mine set so that there is no travel in the trigger. I also have a heavy spring in it aswell. This enables me to use it as a back tension release. Too many archers have the trigger set too light and this can lead to them anticipating the shot.

I have mine (also a Target 3) set with no travel, but the lightest possible spring. It's all a matter of personal preference.
